Spring Into Savings!

Save up to $25,000 or more by maintaining your current vehicle! So how can you save up to $25,000 or more by maintaining your current vehicle rather than purchasing a new car or truck? Here's some points to ponder! If you have a reliable vehicle that is paid for, as an example, you may be spending $1000 per year on preventive maintenance service (regular oil changes and inspections) and general repair. A new car or truck priced at a modest cost of $30,000 will not only have a monthly payment and interest structure if financed, but insurance costs are also higher. So, let's say as an example, you spend $1000 for service, repair, and accessories on your current vehicle this year as opposed to payments of $450-$800 per month (based on interest rate, down payment, and total length of payment plan). At $600 per month, you would spend $7,200 this year on car payments, plus pay higher ve ... read more

Toyota Recall for Gas Pedal sticking issues

I like Toyota, they discover a problem, and they step up to the plate and announce a plan to fix it. Recalling and holding production on 270,000 effected vehicles Also this is a very rare condition, but I like to keep my clients informed. If you find the pedal sticks Toyota recommends applying the brakes, pulling over, shut off car and have it towed to be repaired. Do not drive it until it is fixed I called my Toyota dealer to inquire about repair, and they are waiting for the parts, but offered to inspect the pedal for wear. Cars effected: Some 2009-2010 Rav4, 2009-2010 Matrix, not sure if the GM twin Vibe is effected yet. 2005-2010 Avalon, 2007-2010 Camry, 2009-2010 Corolla, 2010 Highlander, 2007-2010 Tundra, and the 2008-2010 Sequoia Cars Not Effected at this time are: All Lexus cars, Sienna vans, Tacoma trucks, Venza, Solara, Yaris, Hybrid Prius, Hybrid Camry, Hybrid Highlanders, and Land Cruiser. Toyota’s fix from there web site, is to repair the issue with a precision cut s ... read more
